News about annual Roast Beef Dinner at St. Paul’s UC – Good & Bad News
The Bad News:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to host our annual roast beef dinner. We will certainly miss the food, the kitchen hustle, and the wonderful fellowship around the table.
The Good News:
You get to enjoy the ultimate Non-Dinner Dinner!
Here’s how it works:
- Zero Prep: No dressing up, no driving in the rain, in the dark, and no waiting in line for a plate.
- 100% Comfort: Stay in your cozy clothes, eat whatever is in your fridge, or order takeout and skip the dishwashing duty entirely!
- Same Great Impact: We are asking you to consider donating the amount you would have spent on dinner tickets.
While the roast beef won’t be on the table, our church’s mission and community projects still rely on the funds this event generates every year. Your generosity, even without the gravy and yummy desserts, keeps our essential programs running strong.
How to Give:
- E-transfer: administration@bancroftunited.ca and add “Non-Dinner Fundraiser” in the notes
- In Person/Mail: Drop your gift in the offering plate or at the office marked “Non-Dinner Fundraiser” by October 25th.
