Prayers

Prayers are a conversation with God — a way to connect with our Creator, share our hearts, and listen for His guidance. It is a source of strength, comfort, and hope. Whether you are giving thanks for a blessing, seeking comfort in a time of need, or lifting up a loved one, we believe that prayer is a powerful and sacred act. You are invited to join us in this practice, knowing that you and your loved ones are being lifted up in prayer by our community.

Submit a Prayer Request

When life’s circumstances prevent you from joining us in person, we still want to lift your joys and concerns in prayer.

Please feel free to send your prayer requests to our church administration at revsvinda@gmail.com.

The requests will be shared with our minister and included in the Prayers of the People during our weekly service.

To ensure your prayer is included in this Sunday’s service, please submit it by Thursday. Any prayers received after this deadline will be included in the following week’s service.

He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
Matthew 22:37

Prayer Shawls

Our Worship Ministry provides handmade shawls to those in need of comfort and prayer. Each shawl is lovingly created with a pattern of stitches and prayers, making it a tangible reminder of God’s love and the support of our church community.

These shawls are a warm embrace during life’s most significant moments. We offer them to individuals marking a new chapter or in need of solace, including:

  • The loss of a loved one
  • Illness or a difficult medical journey
  • The joy of new life or a new beginning
  • The spiritual milestones of Confirmation or Baptism

The shawls are a way for us to wrap our arms around our congregation and community, letting them know that they are being held in prayer. Our worship team thoughtfully identifies recipients for the shawls throughout the year, ensuring they are shared with those who can be most blessed by them.
