Bancroft Community Transit (BCT) has released updated details regarding their shuttle services.
Bancroft Community Transit (BCT) is dedicated to connecting our regions, communities, and enhancing livability by providing a sustainable transportation network.
Whether you are traveling from Maynooth, Faraday/Cardiff, or Coe Hill, there are options available to support your weekly and Sunday Worship travel needs through on-demand shuttle services into Bancroft and the surrounding regions.

How the On-Demand Service Works
BCT has transitioned from fixed routes to an on-demand service for its weekday operations. This change was implemented to run more efficiently and provide shorter wait times for passengers.
- Booking a Ride: Simply call the bus number at (613) 553-8217 in the morning to arrange a pick-up time.
- Pick-up Times: When calling, the driver will provide an estimated arrival time.
- Accessibility: An accessible vehicle is available for those who need it, though it must be pre-booked in advance.
- Dedicated Stop: The Chateau:
- While the service is primarily on demand, the shuttle maintains 3 dedicated daily stops at the Chateau. These occur at: 9:45 am, 10:45 am, and 11:45 am
Sunday Shuttle Service for Local Churches
BTC continues to offer a Sunday Shuttle specifically available to local churches in the Bancroft and Bird’s Creek area.
- To Schedule: Passengers must call (613) 553-8217 by Friday and leave a message for the Sunday Driver to arrange a pick-up.
